Extrapolation

"In the Associationalist milieu monstrous science functions directly as metaphor -- jilted aside from the deificative effects of direct analogy -- and represents a belief both in the intellectual capacity of man to understand and comprehend the universe, but also representing the unfortunate tendency of these self-same men to clog understanding with the investigation of cock-n-balls, the knee-deep speculations on "tight vaginas," endless and furrowing argumentation, fist-fighting over watering systems and the equal distribution of wealth, bearded ladies with pen-knives, half-formed thoughts, shadows that appear like minotuar by the hat-rack and literature churned out by neophytes, all of it beaming with a curiously understated joy, a step from biliousness and nearly all stripe."
"The study of such things naturally invites clamor --- and so it is that superlative examples of the scholarly type alone find themselves in this thick trench, cautiously gnawing the removing end of a pencil, papers atrew, knowledge spread throughout in the manner of a sealed envelope become bogs of vapor, big time, with no shit shorn."
