Dallas Dumpling

From Plastic Tub

1976-1981, Dallas-Ft. Worth to Baton Rouge

Established by Mazzistow Carrington, this Dallas-based review focused on AA theory, Tex-Mex cooking and the negative effects of Poob Culture -- in addition to numerous bouts of poetic dythrambia.

Despite harrassment by various white power groups, local Presbyterian minister Dr. Joseph Peter Whiteman, the police and the Betty Crocker people, the review boasted a modest circulation and enjoyed a healthy run. The paper folded when Carrington decided to focus his attention on his Treatise on the historical oddity Antoinne Argy Boy Beauchamp.

The Dumpling spawned one famous child: the international comic-strip phenomenon Choco.
