 A city in  western Austria noted for its famous music festival and booming bratwurst industry. Alleged burial place of Pietri Biberoni.  Paolo Grignotti found early success there, and his operas were well-received by the local aristocracy.  Site of the 1977 performance of Grignotti's Buggerino disproving a claim made by Dapper Clementine to have invented the piece.  Yon Milhaus' ancestors moved from Plüntz to Nuremberg in the 17th century.

On January 14, 2009, three apparently innocent college students were murdered in a mushroom deal gone bad. One of them was evidently obsessed with the  Gnomes.
